Potomac Chapter Getting a New Look: Seeking Logo Designs

The announcement of the new AFS logo is an opportunity for all AFS units to update our logos to coordinate. This is an invitation to contribute to the chapter by participating in a logo design idea gathering.

There are many talented individuals in our membership. We want to take every opportunity to showcase that talent and hope that those with graphic design skills can use them to contribute to the chapter.

Logo ideas should follow the AFS Unit Branding Guide and use the approved AFS logo files. Submissions should be sent to [email protected] by Monday, September 25. Please include your name, email, and a full color .png file. The winner will be notified in late September and will receive a free ticket to the Chapter’s annual Crab Feast (tentatively scheduled for October 2023), where the new logo will be unveiled.

If your design is chosen, you will be asked to provide a list of all fonts and colors used in the design, an editable vector file (e.g., Adobe Illustrator), vector EPS files in both CYMK and RGB, along with the original .png. You must also transfer full legal copyright to the AFS Potomac Chapter.
