ACCSP Fisheries Data Analyst
The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission is seeking qualified applicants for the position of ACCSP Fisheries Data Analyst. The incumbent is responsible for applying specialized fisheries knowledge to collecting, managing, processing and disseminating data housed in Atlantic Coastal Cooperative Statistics Program (ACCSP) systems. Specific duties include 1) working with the Program Partners and ACCSP staff to provide data support for data-intensive activities (such as stock assessments), 2) assisting staff in the design, building and maintenance of fisheries data structures, 3) providing quality control and monitoring for ACCSP partner data feeds and deployed ACCSP data collection systems, 4) working with ACCSP technical committees in guiding the evolution of ACCSP data collection standards, 5) providing support for data requests that cannot be fulfilled through on-line tools, 6) following established quality control/quality assurance protocols for all information systems during the entire data life cycle, 7) providing technical support for end users, and 8) performing related duties as required as the ACCSP evolves. Salary range is $52,000 – $57,000 plus benefits including part-time telecommuting.

ACCSP Recreational Fisheries Data Analyst
The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Recreational Fisheries Data Analyst. The incumbent is responsible for ongoing implementation of state conduct of Marine Recreational Information Program (MRIP) surveys on the Atlantic coast, including the Access Point Intercept Angler Survey (APAIS) and the For-hire Telephone Survey (FHTS). The incumbent provides program support to partner agencies conducting MRIP surveys from Georgia through Maine and acts as a liaison between the Atlantic Coastal Cooperative Statistics Program (ACCSP) partners conducting MRIP surveys. In addition, the incumbent will support other aspects of the ACCSP program and perform related duties as the ACCSP evolves. ACCSP utilizes Oracle and SAS software for data storage and dissemination.
